About the event
Our workshops offer a creative escape where you can craft stunning pieces that capture the essence of the beach. Each session guides you through the techniques of working with resin and recycled glass. It's an ideal way to spend a day, whether you’re looking to unwind or find a unique way to celebrate the seaside. Join us to create your own beautiful, beach-inspired artworks that bring a piece of the shore into your home. We also offer private events please contact us at (240) 426-2047 for a private event.
WHAT TO WEAR:
We will be working with acrylic paints, resin, and glass. Don’t wear your best clothes to the workshop. I have aprons for your use, but they don’t cover everything. Plastic gloves will be provided.
PAYMENT:
Tickets must be purchased online, before I can reserve a space for you in the workshop. Cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance for a full refund. No refunds will be made for no-shows. Only those people who have registered and paid to participate in the workshop can be in the studio during the workshop. After 5:00 PM only those registered for a workshop will be allowed in the shop. I open the doors 10 minutes prior to the workshop.
WHEN DO I GET MY ART?
Resin takes 12 hours to cure. You will have to return the day after your class to pick up your project.
CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE PARTY?
I have room in the schedule to add more workshops. If you have a special occasion, you are celebrating or want a special “girls' night out” let me know and I’ll see if I can schedule a workshop for you. Please call me at (240) 426-2047 to set up the RSVP page for your party.
ARE THE WORKSHOPS KID FRIENDLY?
I love children! However, these workshops are designed for adults. If you want a child to participate, they must be over the age of twelve. A parent (or responsible adult) must be registered to participate in the same workshop and be committed to working closely with their child.
DRINKS AND SNACKS:
You can bring snacks and your favorite beverage. I cannot serve alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own and enjoy responsibly.
** I have planned, priced, tested, and prepared materials for each workshop. You may not bring substitute materials for use in the class unless I have approved it prior to class. If you want to complete a custom project we will have to plan and schedule a specific class time for you outside of the time set-aside for the class. We must be considerate of the other people that have signed up for the workshop and their time.
Looking forward to seeing all of you!
